The observable future may be short and boring if we don't find a new way to cooperate/coexist with one another in symbiosis. We may get stuck in a race to increase one's own compute capacity indefinitely to keep up with eachother in adversarial games, or perhaps be forced to merge with one another to form a giant organism, or perhaps spread out at near light speed, or just die.

I am not implying that at all. All I'm saying is that humans can't keep up with LLM/agent rates of code generation but agents come, so what is unusable for humans is ok for LLMs.

I do hear about the brain drain you are experiencing, trying to keep up with all the information that comes at you at high speed. My advice would be to outsource the annoying parts to AI.. like have a sub-agent do the verification, debugging, playtest whatever to grade the work done for example if that's the part you least enjoy.
tilemarch · Oct 14, 2026 · comment in “Ask HN: How to deal with just being a PR reviewer for LLMs nowadays”
He is just dodging responsibility because he knows that they will only be able to keep up with the lies for a little longer. Like people having been pointing out that lots of the "mathematical proofs" the published rely on hallucinations or unproven theorems.

Though stored locally, these conversations use different formats. This is annoying because you cannot simply switch between agents without starting over.

Show HN: FrontStep v0.5.2 I was struggling to keep up with several projects at once, so I built this with Claude to help me stay organized.

Show HN: Claudexor – quota-aware routing for Claude Code, Codex, and Cursor I am tired of switching between agents when I run out of quota limits.

Yeah, I have used that and it's pretty good. For me, keeping up with multiple Claude Code agents got pretty annoying (hard to see which need your attention etc) so I felt like I needed a lightweight UI.
cwbuilds · Jul 11, 2026 · comment in “Show HN: Abralo – Free, easy way to run several Claude Code agents in one window”
If there is a cool project that comes out the other side, who cares? I am forced to use Claude for day job, and while it's annoying, I am running at a pace that can keep up with my brain, not just what I can shit out and get tested and inevitably miss things.

Hi Boris, what is the advantage of using /code-review vs just asking Opus to “code review”? As a casual user working on hobby projects, I struggle to keep up with the pace of changes and knowing what to use when.

I just wanted to express gratitude to you guys, you do great work. However, it is a little annoying to have to redownload big models though and keeping up with the AI news and community sentiment is a full time job.

So their usage has shot up post AI agents/agentic coding. We are seeing the effects via their struggle to keep up with demand.
sheepscreek · Mar 27, 2026 · comment in “Moving from GitHub to Codeberg, for lazy people”
>It’s existential for us to keep up with the demands of AI and Copilot if by chance the CTO reads this, as a user of GitHub I would find it really existential if GitHub continues functioning as a reliable hub for git workflows (hence the name), and I have the strong suspicion nobody except for the shareholders gives a lick about copilot or 'AI' if it makes the core service the site was designed for unusable
Barrin92 · Mar 24, 2026 · comment in “GitHub is once again down”
I wonder how much of this is down to the massive amount of new repos and commits (of good or bad quality!) from the coding agents. I believe that the App Store is struggling to keep up with (mostly manual tbf) app reviews now, with sharp increases in review times.
martinald · Mar 23, 2026 · comment in “GitHub appears to be struggling with measly three nines availability”
Curious about the MCP tool schema design: with 40+ tools, are you using a flat tool registry or do you have any grouping/namespacing? I've run into issues where agents get confused when they have too many tools with similar-sounding names and start hallucinating tool calls that don't exist.
machinaMKT · Mar 21, 2026 · comment in “Show HN: Vessel Browser – An open-source browser built for AI agents, not humans”
We recently started home renovation and needed a todo app to keep up with the tasks. I noticed that the existing todo apps are annoying to use and lacking a good ai integration.

50 here. Years ago I completely stopped coding, becoming tired of the never ending rat race of keeping up with the latest bizarre web stacks, frameworks for everything, node for this, npm for that, Angular, React, Vue, whatever - as if solving business problems just became too boring for software developers, so we decided to spend our cycles on the new hotness at every turn.
burnstek · Mar 7, 2026 · comment in “Tell HN: I'm 60 years old. Claude Code has re-ignited a passion”
Claude is honestly excellent for building, but when it comes to content, explanations, or digging into information, I still often prefer ChatGPT. And constantly switching between models is still annoying.

If so, great -- I'm worried about nothing. If not, we could see that LLMs of tomorrow struggle to keep up with the bloat of today.

But... I can't help but feel like it's not keeping up with GitHub and am now facing the question: do we basically have no choice but to do a painful migration over to GitHub Enterprise if we want to stay relevant?

However, it was a bit annoying for me to keep up with the updates and the resource usage on a VPS so that's why my current setup is Gitea + Drone CI (might move over to Woodpecker CI) + Nexus instead of GitLab, and is way more lightweight and still has the features I need.
KronisLV · Jan 24, 2026 · comment in “I Like GitLab”
After the introduction of agentic code tools, the development speed has increased rapidly, but i have been struggling to keep up with the verification of these tools, since some of these things "just work"(reminds me of the old joke, "it compiles").
rmnull · Jan 7, 2026 · story in “Ask HN: How are you preventing sloppy verification with AI-assisted coding?”
I switched to Waterfox about a year ago because my poor old linux box just couldn't keep up with the latest Firefox version (especially the Snap package! I literally unusable for me) and I am very thankful that they aren't going to be including any of the LLM crud that Mozilla has been talking up.
